I Want Revenge came to LaCroix after being scratched as the morning line favorite for the 2009 Kentucky Derby with a probable career ending injury. He spent ten months at the farm initially handwalking, Aqua-Tredding, and getting two Game Ready treatments a day. Then, after a favorable re-evaluation he was able to start walking on the exerciser. After a second exam we were able to start jogging him on the track. He returned to training in the spring of 2010 and has since returned to racing with 3rd place finishes in the Suburban Handicap (G2), and the Phillip H. Iselin Stakes (G3).
